Batman - Noir style

I've wanted to do this image for a while, but never got around to do it.
At some point i was able to find the motivation, but before finishing inking i figured out a real cool way to do the colors. However by the time i finished the inking i totally forgot how i wanted the colors to be done!!! And i wasn't able to find another way which i would have liked.

So i decided to just screw it and upload it as it is.

This is a Batman version that is more realistic and focused more on the "detective" part of Batman. In other words, no superheros, no supervillians, just a bunch of weirdos getting hunted by a detective.

Now on to some more background information to the characters in my version(warning, wall of text).

Batman: He doesn't use any fancy gadgets or such things, also he doesn't just throw himself into fights he knows he can't win, since in this realistic universe he is absolutely sure to die if someone with a gun were to shoot at him. The first time he beat a criminal, he was wearing an outfit similar to this, but it was just a coincidence he happened to see this crook. The guy he was beating up was on drugs, and due to Bruce ways glasses and Hat he looked like a bat-monster to him, thus this "guy who beats up criminals" was called "the bat" or "batman" as a joke by the police and criminals.
Robin: Similar backstory to the original one. After his parents die he decided to find the joker himself and thus wandered the streets of gotham beating up crooks to find more information about him. Unlike batman he draws attention to himself with his bright red shirt, to better calculate how the oppenent would react on him. The police caught him, but was eventually released, which at some point there he met Batman. The first arc would have ended(if i ever were to write it, which i doubt i will do XP) with Robin being able to shoot Joker, but decides not to do so, after that he would start to wear the mask as Batmans sidekick.(of course batman doesn't want him to do it, but he just sneaks out everytime)
Batgirl: Similar to the original. She wants to become a real police officer, however she found out sometimes she needs to take care of the business herself, but hates working outside the law. Instead of a mask she covers her eyes with black makeup(similar to the movie batmans)
Joker: Unlike the original one, this one doesn't have any scars whatsoever. The reason why he is called the joker is because he never stops smiling/laughing. Even when batman beats up and knocks him out he never stopped it. Only shortly before the end of the arc batman was able to interfere with his plan successfully, which really pissed him off and stopped smiling. He didn't like that. His personality is similar to Nolans version.
Harley Quinn: Exactly the same as the original version.
Poison ivy: Huge change here. She is just a normal woman who happens to be an eco terrorist. At first she was just doing protests, but joker was able to convince her that this way nothing will get done. Batman was able to catch her and she got sent to prison. In prison her lawyer(and lover) and old friends cut ties with her and she was all alone. Then she met Harley quinn. At first she felt like Harley was just plain insane, but doing a fight Harley suddenly showed off her Psycho-doc side and pretty much did a perfect analyize of Ivy, which shocked her. But Harley continued to wanting to be friend with her. Joker busted Harley out, at which point Ivy followed her and rescued her the moment Harley realized Joker was just using her as a scapegoat. Thus the new hot lesbian villian team was created!
Catwoman: Pretty much the same as Nolans version, except her outfit and gear are much more professional for a burgler. The design is based off: [link]

Twoface: My favourite change. In this version he was a lawyer like in nolans version, however he got his face ruined similar to the original version, but his partner framed him. He was sent to prison for a few years.(everything before my batman story began) after that he decided to resume his lawyer activity, but as a lawyer for villians, doing everything legally to get them out of prison! However ironically he is still a good guy, his twisted reason for helping villians is, to show how screwed up the system is.
Scarecrow: Pretty much the same as Nolans version. When i designed his Mask i wanted to do give him an actual modern gasmask, however coicidently i found out about those PH helmets, which were perfect for him!
Bane: Actually, i never liked Bane, thus i didn't give him a Background that most Bane fans would like. When Bane appeared in "Batman & Robin(movie)" i was like "Who is that guy?
Riddler: In this version, he is just a random quibicle worker, who just happens to love mystery novels and such. He once helped the police solving some crimes, which was the only enjoyment he got nowadays, however they didn't liked getting helped by him a lot. Then Joker arrived(yes, the joker is responsible for a lot of stuff in my story) and offered him another great mystery. He wanted him to find out who "Batman" is. Riddler correctly guessed that he had no say in it and joker would have killed him if he said no. Riddler "Are you kidding me? I would have done it anyway."
Clayface: A huge difference to the real one. This one is just an actor who suffered from an explosion on the set or something. After his disfigured face, he learned how to do mask, makeup, clothes etc., everything to continue to act. However even though he was able to imitate anyone, no one wanted to hire him because it was just too much effort. Thus he became a villian. He gets paid by others to disguise himself as anyone, like a police officer, or a security guard at a museum etc. He looks so anorexic so he can also disguise himself as women.
Mr.freeze: Same backstory as the original one, except he can still live without any supersuit. He doesn't fight anyone either, like most villians in my story, but merely uses his SCIENCE to create bombs and such for others.
Pinguin. The richest man in the underground world. He doesn't do any jobs himself, but pays others to do it. Money rules the world. That worked, until Joker decides to visit him to "lent" some money. And also until batman decided to visit him to ask "nicely" for information about joker.
